DECEMBER ANNUAL CHRISTMAS DINNER

Dinner served at 6 p.m.

Our guests are Bruce Young & Benoit
who will be sharing their information and a few pieces from their collection of rugs.

The Limestone Guild has been involved as a group with
Canadian Aid for Chernobyl.
The following is a list of the most needed items:

Women’s socks
Reading glasses +2 or stronger
Shampoo
Toothpaste
Shaving Cream
Hard Candy that is individually wrapped
Scarves for men

This is a list of additional items needed:

Toothbrushes
Hand Cream, Petroleum Jelly
Razors
Combs, Brushes
Nail Files
Band-Aids
Hankies, Kleenex
Face Cloths, Small Towels
Scarves, Socks
Tea, Jello Packages
Good used clothing – preferably dark in colour
socks and underwear for the children
Square and rectangular cookie tins – clean and free of rust etc.
Costume jewelry
Puzzles for all ages – no words on the puzzles
Stuffed Toys
Other Toys but please no toys that require batteries

There is no library this month

NOVEMBER MEETING HIGHLIGHTS

Our guest, Irene LaFleche, presented a trunks show,
sharing a sample of her quilts Community Quilts had large display of finished quilt that were made and donated by our members. The Postcard Group shared their creativity Examples of items that members can make at the Make It and Take It Workshop on Thursday November 15

After refreshments, provided by our November Social Group,and a short meeting,
we ended the evening with Show and Tell,
with members sharing some of their finishes this month. See you next month for our final meeting in 2018!

NOVEMBER GUILD MEETING

Irene will also be teaching a workshop on Thursday 8 November called “Quilting With My Walking Foot”

Christmas dinner tickets will be on sale at the November meeting.

The November Social committee members will be helping  and bringing refreshments for the meeting.
