AQS Quilt Week Trip to Grand Rapids
It looks like everyone had a great time at Grand Rapids and the AQS quilt show. Fun shopping at Fields Fabrics too. Paducah – Quilt City, U.S.A – April 22 – 28, 2019
We have done it again. But it will the last time for a decade.
We are going to Paducah! April 22-28, 2019.
Paducah is known as Quilt City, U.S.A. The entire city is quilt crazy, supporting the show and every visitor. Volunteers are everywhere. Watch for the red jackets and shirts. Quilt Man and Bobbin Boy are there, too. There are church suppers, special cookies at the bakery, and special displays in the shop windows. The museum is amazing. Eleanor Burns has two shops. There are workshops, lectures, and special events. Oh
yes, there is strawberry shortcake, too. Thank you, Boy Scouts. This is a long trip, and we stop overnight in Finlay, Ohio, going to Kentucky, and returning. The first stop in Paducah is Hancock’s of Paducah. It is like a Costco, or Lee Valley, for fabric. Huge, with everything you need, or want. Heaven on bolts! There is no pricing available at this time, but prices will be higher than three years ago.
