Our meeting began with an explanation of our Mini-Workshop evening, by our guild president.There were 3 mini-workshop presentations featuring interesting techniques for tablerunners.

The fourth station featured a fabric sale, with the proceeds going to the Food Sharing Program at local elementary schools.Following a break, to enjoy delicious snacks
provided by our October social groupwe continued on with our regular meeting.

There were some quilts displayed by our Community Quilts group The library was ready for members to select books to borrow, or to purchase older books – the funds help to buy new publications.There was a double display of postcards this month.

Our monthly Fat Quarter draw was held, with this month’s selection of “Stripes”. We ended the evening with a lovely group of
Show and Tell projects.Please don’t forget the “Fidgit Quilt” workshop
on Thursday 26 September at the Odessa fairgrounds.
